It's not a summer weekend in Toronto without road closures.
The only major road closure this weekend is for the Taste of the Danforth. Danforth Avenue is closed in both directions between Broadview and Jones to accommodate the festival. It will re-open at 4 a.m. Monday.
However, there's also a closure in the St. Lawrence Market area due to the Feast of St. Lawrence. Market Street is completely closed from Front Street East to The Esplanade, where it becomes Wilton Street.
If you're planning on taking the subway to any of these events, a heads up: There's no TTC service on Line 1, the Yonge-University-Spadina line, between Lawrence and St. Clair stations. That's due to Metrolinx work on the Eglinton Crosstown at Yonge and Eglinton.
Shuttle buses are in operation, but TTC-goers can also take the 97 Yonge bus to go north or south.
