The maker of Buckley's cough syrup is recalling several of its products over a potential choking hazard.
Health Canada says a defect with the plastic seal could cause it to fall into the bottle.
The company, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Inc., is telling consumers not to drink directly from the bottle. Instead, pour the syrup into a teaspoon and check for the plastic seal.
Details on the recall from Health Canada are listed below.
The affected products are indicated for use by adults and children above 12 years old. Buckley's Jack and Jill children's syrup is not part of the recall as it uses a different seal.
